A digital nation with working infrastructure, and honest gaps

Xity runs a public ledger, a reserve-backed currency, and a claims-based identity system. It is not a recognised state, no law is in force, and no institution is constituted. This site says so plainly.

Verifiable, not asserted

Trust should come from evidence a person can check themselves, a public ledger they can audit, not from claims the operator asks them to believe.

The person holds their keys

Identity and property belong to the holder. The system verifies properties about a person without taking custody of their underlying records.

Honesty about stage

What is live is labelled live. What is being built is labelled in development. What is planned is labelled planned. Nothing aspirational is presented as accomplished.

Show what must be shown, hide what must be hidden

Public records are public. Operational details that would weaken security (custody, signers, topology, vulnerabilities) are not published. The rule that draws that line is itself published.
